S49/32X1/2STC - Roughing 12.7x42mm phenolic downcut

Solid carbide spiral roughing tool to rout composite materials including phenolics, carbon fibre, fibreglass and Trespa.

• Unique grinding and multi-flute design.
• Suitable for roughing cuts in hard and abrasive material. Roughing cuts are for bulk removal and require separate finishing cutter for clean up.
• Special grade carbide for maximum durabilty.
• Downcut for better clamping when machining small workpieces and improved finish on the tops of the board.
• For use on routers and CNC routers.
• Not recommended for plunge cutting unless ramped into workpiece.
• Please note roughing tools give a rough cut edge and requires separate cleaning up.
